We are pleased to announce that on Monday evening, May 16, after the announcement of our 2022 prizes, Annette Gordon-Reed takes office as the Society's president, succeeding Andrew Delbanco, and Philip Deloria assumes office as vice president.
Also assuming office in May are the newly elected members of the Executive Board: Kai Bird, Maria Cristina Garcia, Thavolia Glymph, Elizabeth Hinton, Madeline Hsu, and Mae Ngai. Elected to their seond term are Jelani Cobb, Lynn Novick, T.J> Stiles, and Jean Strouse. The Society warmly thanks the outgoing members--Dan Czitrom, Jared Farmer, Beverly Gage, Tim Gilfoyle, and Martha Hodes--for their service.
